More fun Than Cables Socks

This is the first of my 'more fun than cables' socks, it is made using Yarn Yard Blackberry Swoop that my sister gave me for my birthday. The pattern is at:

I have also finished my first Socks that Rock in Rocktober Medium weight yarn, I can see why everyone gets so excited by this yarn, it is tightly spun and feels lovely as a sock. Standard sock pattern with twisted rib at top and eye of partridge heel.
















I have blocked the mohair shawl for my daughter today, so it is now drying for her 18th birthday party on Friday. This was taken from:

I made myself some fingerless gloves/armwarmers with some Alpaca/Merino DK colourway Ice from: http://www.thenaturaldyestudio.com/ Cameras are a wonderful thing both these photos are of the gloves!!
































I had some wool left over so I made a pair of armwarmers, not sure who for yet.
















I also finally got a picture of my daughters finished argylle kitty socks.
